ISI is not about you...

That’s right, ISI is not about you!  Instead, ISI is for men who come to know and understand that it is actually all about God’s command to serve others, but in reality, may still struggle with that Biblical truth in their lives everyday; “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17).

In fact, the daily struggle is so intense that men come to realize they have an instinctive spiritual need to align themselves with other leaders who are like-minded corporately and spiritually.  ISI offers them the forum to come together one day a month with their peers and go through a process of “Iron Sharpening Iron” (thus, ISI).  The end result will allow them to lead, influence, and operate the organization that Christ has asked them to steward and do it His way based on Biblical principles, godly wisdom, and becoming accountable!

Men who are selected to become members of ISI understand that “to fight the good fight” they need other men in their lives to exchange ideas, so that they can both “give” and “receive” encouragement, and come to understand and embrace true service to others. All this occurs in a safe, practical, and confidential environment.

ISI is about relationships!

ISI is a place to be heard! It is also a place to speak into other men’s lives through the filter of your personal relationship with Christ. It is for those key business leaders who have a deep desire to not just become the leaders that God calls us to be in our organization, but also at home focusing on the stewardship of our marriages and our families.

There is a mental sharpness that comes from being around other like-minded people.  A master mind group can help people see their ideas, needs, and concerns with new clarity so they can be shaped into useful, meaningful and possibly, life-changing insights and decisions.  This requires peers who can challenge each other and stimulate thought, people who can focus on others without involving their own egos in the discussion, people who know how to attack the thought and not the thinker, and people who can safely bring their personal and professional needs before others so that each man can indeed become “sharpened” by other men just as God intended!
